MF RC500 RF chip

2024-01-19 15:54:45

The MF RC500 produced by Philips is one of the members of the latest highly integrated card reader integrated circuit series that communicates with non-contact IC cards at a frequency of 13.56MHz. These new card reading chips fully integrate standard modulation and demodulation circuits, support all non-contact IC card communication protocols at 13.56MHz frequency, and have matching pins. These chips include MF RC500, MF RC530, MF RC531, and SLRC400. MF RC500 supports all layer protocols of the ISO14443A standard. The internal transmission part of MF RC500 can drive an antenna designed for close range coupling (up to 100mm) without the need for additional activation circuits. The receiving circuit can perform robust and efficient demodulation and decoding of signals that comply with ISO14443A compatibility. The digital circuit part adopts frame and error detection (checksum CRC) that complies with the ISO14443A standard, and also supports fast CRYPTO 1 security algorithms to verify MIFARE class cards. A well-developed parallel interface can be directly connected to a general-purpose 8-bit microprocessor for flexible design of card reading terminals.
