The difference between PSAM card and ESAM card
1、 Differences in application scope
PSAM cards are mainly used on commercial POS, branch terminals, direct connected terminals, and other devices. They have security control management functions, support multi-level card issuance mechanisms, and are suitable for multiple application environments. They complete bidirectional authentication between equipment and IC cards. ESAM cards are mainly used in water, electricity, and gas meters, providing built-in security functions for using IC cards as prepaid meters, and completing bidirectional authentication between meters and IC cards.
2、 Different access processes
The PSAM card is connected to the terminal equipment through a slot method, which is suitable for stable environments. The ESAM card is connected to the terminal equipment using welding technology, especially suitable for environments with high vibration.
