1、 Differences in application scope

ESAM cards are mainly used in water, electricity, and gas meters, providing built-in security functions for using IC cards as prepaid meters, and completing bidirectional authentication between meters and IC cards.

2、 Different access processes

The PSAM card is connected to the terminal equipment through a slot method, which is suitable for stable environments. The ESAM card is connected to the terminal equipment using welding technology, especially suitable for environments with high vibration.
